Just like humans, dogs respond emotionally to music as well. According to the University of Bristol, music can have a calming effect on your pets emotional state. Although dogs don't respond to just any old music! They have an ear for classical and orchestra music. 

Bristol University tested various types of music on dogs and man's best friend responded best to the wide variety of pitches, tones and tempos most commonly heard from instruments.

So in the name of science and good practice, Yellowdog will be putting this to the test by playing a selection of classical music.

This will be particularly beneficial to those dogs that are anxious about their visit and will hopefully help them to overcome any angst and enjoy their day out.
